|  Apologies for no updates recently! There hasn't been any news, except that Kit's movie has earned tons of critical acclaim! This is great news, and many critcs have stated that they are extremely excited for the next movie--which will be based on Julie Albright! I'm on a vacation right now, but when I get back next weekend, I'll put up a new layout! |

| Not much news today, but Julie's movie is rumored to be filming this fall in order to be released as a 2009 film. However, so sources are stating that it will be filming in summer of 2009. Like Kit's movie, American Girl will be allowing a few girls to try out for minor parts in Julie's movie. |

| No movie news today; however American Girl is set to open yet another Boutique and Bistro store in the Mall of America! It's expected to open in November of this year. This decision seems like a very wise choice, since the mall is so huge and American Girl is so popular. |

| Kit's movie was #8 on the box office this week. Let's hope it rises next week! The movie has done a splendid job with American Girl fans, as well as critics. Since I saw the film on the 4th, I'm going to leave my review.
American Girl, once again, does an excellent job bringing an American Girl to life on screen. Abigail Breslin made the pefect Kit, and she plays the character extremely well, while the rest of the cast does the same. The story, sets, and costumes help the film look like the 1930's, and the coloring and editing is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery part, and I loved seeing the kids(Kit, Ruthie, and Stirling) work together, while trying to solve the strange case. This American Girl film is a bit more humorous than the other three, while it's also a bit more dramatic. Frankly, Kit's movie is not my favorite movie released by American Girl. However, I highly enjoyed it, and I think any American Girl fan will. I don't want to give any parts away, so I'll just let y'all decide for yourselves! This movie includes history, morals, and valuable lessons dealing with life. This movie is defintely one worth watching, and it's entertaining for the entire family. |
